Tarot Decks by Hojate is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in our mobile application. In short: we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. All data remains on your device or in your personal iCloud account, which you control.

When you scan tarot cards using the app's camera feature, the images are stored locally on your device. These images are part of your personal collection and are never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
Information about your decks, including deck names, card organization, and collection status, is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
If you have iCloud enabled, your decks and scanned card images may be synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This synchronization is handled entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policies. We do not have access to your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud sync at any time through your device settings.
The app requests camera access to allow you to scan tarot cards. Camera access is only used when you actively choose to scan a card. We do not access your camera in the background or collect any camera data.
The app may request access to your photo library to allow you to import existing images of tarot cards. This permission is optional and only used when you choose to import photos. We do not access your photo library without your explicit action.
You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings app.
The app allows you to share your decks with others through iOS sharing features. When you choose to share a deck, the data is shared directly from your device to the recipient through the sharing method you select (e.g., AirDrop, Messages, Email). We do not facilitate or have access to these sharing transactions.
If you export your decks, the data is exported directly from your device. We do not receive or store exported data.
